Important: Get the Balance of your rebate payment
There are two identical bills in both the House and the Senate waiting to get to the floor. They are currently at rest in the Energy & Utilities Subcommittee. They will need your help to make it to the floor and they will need your help to get passed.
HB1283 & SB1864 are identical bills and call for General Revenue to fund the remaining balance owed to Floridians and businesses who invested in the State run solar rebate program.
We are calling on all of our customers and partners to help send a message to our legislators that people who were eligible for the Florida Solar Rebate program should be paid their full amount. Over 30,000 people are receiving this message directly from us and we hope that you all join in on the fight.
Pressure from the American public on our legislators and big business is working. Your voice can make a difference. Look at what happened with Bank of America’s $5 customer charge. Occupy Wall Street has gotten national attention for their message. The internet regulation bill known a SOPA was killed when Google, Facebook and Wikipedia mobilized their users. The voice of a single person is turning into many and change is occurring.
